All I can say is you can run into same problems in your own tent. Glad your friend has had no fuss growing. With Grobo you like it or you donā€™t. You can try to work with it or give up? I have never had any issues with support in response time.
We understand your frustrated. I have had 2 plants die within first month of using grobo. But I didnā€™t give up especially with money I have invested into grobo. Any hoot good luck in the future. You can always come back to AG if you keep trying.

Problems yes. But not the same problem. The issues Iā€™m having is manufacture defect or just neglect since they donā€™t calibrate as part of the setup. All of my issues have been from the grobo itself and Iā€™ve been talking to support for weeks. Iā€™m sorry but we are almost on day 30 of using this and problem still isnā€™t solved. Seems like people here know more than support does which is sad. Most of the time they take a few days to even respond which is why this has dragged on so long and we go in circles since the girl helping me doesnā€™t seem to listen or know what sheā€™s doing. Some of the people here Have been way more helpful but they can only do so much. They canā€™t fix my grobo issues. Which apparently seems to be that my probe needs to be calibrated. Which I told her people here suggested that since my bottles are being dispensed at an alarming rate. But still silly questions and no solutions. for my first experience and doing this little dance for a month is insane to say the least. And thanks. I appreciate your response. I think the taste is so bad in my mouth at this point Iā€™m not sure anything could make it better.

Well if mfg. defect what are you waiting for ask for refund or new replacement.

I already have asked. Iā€™ll let you know in a week when they actually respond. Itā€™s sad I even have to ask. If customer support is so great like some claim the problem should have been solved by now.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I have nothing against the people here aside from a couple that think grobo is somehow perfect or amazing whom are also quite standoffish about it but oh well. Thanks again.

Your issue is not manufacture defect or neglect. Not sure what you actually mean by neglect, unless you are talking about your own.

You were given simple suggestions to fix your issue. You chose to ignore them and go on a rant against the company. If you spent some time and read the forums, youā€™d notice that there is a plethora of tips and fixes for the exact same issues you were having. Again, you ignored them because you wanted Grobo to fix everything for you remotely. Or were you expecting them to send someone to your house?

Regardless, as @AandM-farms said, either you hate it or you love it. I have had issues with mine pumping water from the reservoir into one of my nutrient bottles. I did some research and came up with a solution that worked.

I can understand your frustration about the advertising, they do paint a simplified picture of the process. Like I said in my previous reply, go invest in a tent and the equipment and give it a shot. Iā€™m betting your friend is growing strains that a fire couldnā€™t kill. Tent growing is not as easy as you think, so please donā€™t try telling me or anyone else that it is a piece of cake. Just ask @Bplatinum9 how long it took him to get his up and running, and then the nutrients dialed in.

As @VermontGrove has stated, tent grow is a whole other beast and comes with its own set of problems as you will find when growing.
I can tell you that the quality of the Grobo grows surpass tent quality for this house for sure!
I can also say that once you have learned to properly use and maintain your unit the rest is pretty simple with a little help from allgrowers.
It is however very important to read as much as possible from this forum because it has many solutions you can implement.
The woman in support who was helping you was probably @Dani who is still a bit new to the Grobo team but very helpful.
If for some reason you dont feel like she is getting down to the bottom of your issue you can ask her to turn your case over for more clarification.
Also like @VermontGrobo suggested, in order to get to the bottom of things its important to follow suggestions so that they can be ruled out.
And as always if you need faster help direct message a champion on allgrowers or post for everyone available to chime in.
Dont give up but be receptive to the advice and you just may get the hang of things!

I am speaking from my experience just wanted to add that I had my first grow at humidity levels at 50-53 % during veg stage it was way to high I would lift up leaves and there would be little puddles of water I ended up getting mold for right now I am running my levels at 45% hum and my temp at 77 degrees she looks amazing Any thing above 45 humanity I wouldnā€™t mess with at this point

Ok, @Tebori, I looked at your first post which was 27 days ago. You gave NO chance for support to even have a shot. Your rant started at 24 days of your grow. If you are SO done with the ā€œpiece of trashā€ you say Grobo is, move on. This is a great forum and nobody needs your negativity. Also, if you havenā€™t served our country, donā€™t disrespect the branches that have, thatā€™s just ignorant. And if you have, thatā€™s even worse. Good luck with your tent grow, but please take your negativity elsewhere. I donā€™t believe for a minute you are ā€œsorry for the drama.ā€
