I just jam the hose right in the distilled water jugs I buy. 
I’ll be investing in an RO system soon.

Same here, but a word of caution, your water in the res should be about 64 degrees, if not then it invites bacteria and mould! I found that out the hard way hence my adding an extra air stone and water chiller

Takes the water in your res and circulates it through a machine that make it the temp you want it! See here:

Extra pump is for the extra air stone, and the box is the chiller! The round thing is a humidifier

Oh so your humidity is low? Mine if I don’t run the dehumidifier at this time of year it would be at 65+
65 is good for early veg, but crazy enough I constantly fight humidity! It’s either too high or too low. I live in a rain forest and lately it’s been sunny and warm

Mine sits at 45-50 with the dehumidifier. Is that good to go?
You should be at 35-40 at this stage, if you can get her there
