1st grow Shishkaberry

Thanks @Bplatinum9. Not sure wth I was thinking there. Duh. I guess because I was never prompted to do so. I also thought it would tell me where to go to start drying.

I think the dry mode is under recipes.

If you drain water before drying how are you storing the two probes ? Just curious since I don’t think they’re supposed to dry out

You can use a bowl of water or plastic zipper bags with water and tape them to the side of your unit but they must stay wet.

that makes sense! thx

You can also use the caps that the probes came with.

Any update/pics on the dynamat installation?

if you use the magnets you can click the zip lock bag to the side of the unit and leave the sensors on the side. Most of us have the magnets

Hey everybody
Question
As far as cutting off samples to inspect under a microscope(checking trichomes for harvest)
Does the sample need to be a bud
Or can it be a small sugar leaf from the bud?

I’ve used a sugar leaf. I cut a very small portion of the leaf and examine

Thanks
I actually did the same thing
Still looking for more cloudiness in the trichomes
ToddYYC time prediction is accurate
Two maybe three more weeks

Sorry for the Dynamat delay. I need a helper but we r all quarantined so I have to wait till helper comes over.

Prior posts in this forum have indicated yes, it should be the bud and not a sugar leaf … And from multiple buds to get an average.

Omacoder
you are taking about just a sliver sized piece of bud not the whole bud correct

Correct one from higher and lower on plant

Today is the last day of flower

Todd I just examined a sample
Let me explain this the best way I can
I am describing trichomes in two parts the tail or stem
And the head or cap
What I am seeing with my microscope is cloudy stems with a few amber heads but most if the heads are clear with cloudy stems
The buds have doubled in size since last week
10 days left on reciped
Hope that makes some sort of sense

Your looking for bigger mixture of cloudy and amber. Too long and it all goes amber. No problem just a different high
