Trimming and extending during flowering

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone could advise on what I should do regarding trimming during the flowering cycle and should I extend this stage? I’ve currently got 7 days left of flowering and am slightly concerned the the buds don’t look anywhere near ready. I’ve see various post saying it’s not a good idea to trim during this stage but a fair few bud sites don’t appear to be getting a lot of light.
As always any advice would be greatly appreciated.

great advice from @SilverGrobo ! I also recommend that you extend flower and defoliate somewhat the fan leaves to increase light intensity and penetration through the canopy to the buds.
I usually defoliate in flower on day 21 and day 42. Normally, my plants will flower for a total of 50-70 days depending on the cultivar’s genetics.
