Is this okay? Right at day 17.It def doesn’t look serious but there was some dead tiny insect in there looked kind of like a ant. Could that have caused the brown spot?

Hey @Bongsmoker89

I had some brown spots on my first single leaf and the first 3 fingered leaves. Plant was fine after that, don’t think the bug was a cause but keep an eye out for any pests.

Hi @Bongsmoker89,

If it continues to spread, throw in a ticket to support@grobo.io and I’ll take a peek at your data to ensure the unit is performing as designed. Plant looks really healthy so far. Keep an eye on the new growth, and keep me updated eh?

Cheers,
Stephen

Yeah I’ll keep a eye on it and see if it holds or spreads.

Day 19 the bottom original leaf looks a little droopy.

Snip those two bottom leaves off. Let the base of the plant breathe and firm up.

Check your ph. If it’s below 5.3 or above 6.0 send a ticket to support@grobo.io. Looks like it might be the beginning of nute lockout.

@Osage
How do I check the ph?
@Azuri
I pmd you

With a ph pen you can get it at your local hydro shop or online.

There already is a PH sensor and EC Sensor in the unit, you can message and ask support what the values for your unit are currently. Same goes for temperature and humidity. There are sensors for those also, but currently, users don’t have access to that info for some reason. It would be great honestly if we could see these things: PH, EC, temperature, humidity, and just more details about our grow like which nutrients are being utilized when and in how much quantity. And what kind of plant training can be done when. @Stephen

Yeah they said my ph was 5.8.
Here’s day 21. I still keep getting these random spots on my leaves.

Can you take a picture of your nutrient bottle levels?

Edit: I can see them above doesn’t seem to excessive on bottle #1 or #2. :man_shrugging:

Better yet, @Bongsmoker89, if you have a ph meter check the ph of the water in your reservoir. Ph has been an issue with me and we are working on recalibrating my system. Mine was off by a full 1.0. Been ph’ing manually until said calibration occurs. Looks exactly like mine did when it started. If you ph it manually and it isn’t correct (between 5.8 and 6.0 then I would send in a ticket to support@grobo.io , I had to take out bottles #1&2 completely, then drain unit, then manually ph my water to those levels then fill with hose. System can’t ph with bottles out, but beware, there is still solution in the lines so you’ll have to ph until it’s stable.

I don’t have a ph pen. And I’m not sure how to manually balance being a newbie

I didn’t suggest that since most new growers won’t have one even in my case it’s been awhile since my last grow but I now have to add this to my aresonal of tools.

Off to Amazon I go, any recommendations @Osage on a model? I see many of the red or yellow ones all around the same price range. I don’t want a spend a ton of $$ but want something reliable / accurate.
