@SWSVIC I have a black lab, so I know the joy of shedding season. The mesh on the filters I have should be small enough to stop any hair from getting inside, although if you look at the first pic I posted of my Pineapple Express you can see a black undercoat hair by the pod, lol. My only concern is pests getting in, and if I do start to notice some I will be switching to a smaller screen.

Honestly there are so many small openings on the Grobo, pests will find their way in regardless. But I like to think the small mesh screens are somewhat helping detour them 
. Very effective for dog hair however, we have 2 labs, so it is a must!

I was thinking for bugs - But thats true, plenty of room in other spots…
