The only way to do this is I would imagine you would have to take the back left screws off the unit and take the left panel away from the side just enough to squeeze into the unit and pull the cord out! It should be 6-8 screws down the back left and the two above the the fan outlet vent on the back!
I am pretty positive you cannot override the lock to get it unless you disassemble, which is a complete bummer!
