I think for some it’s a linguistic (semantic? 
) habit to say bro at the end of their statements regardless to whether they’re speaking to a boy, girl, man, or woman and for others it’s what you mentioned - an unconscious assumption that everyone on here is male unless your profile pic makes it obvious that you aren’t. & Yes, your name doesn’t help them lol (even though the spelling is feminine).
