First grow "White Widow"

Hello everyone. I just started a white widow seed also. I think the shell is stuck on the seedling.

Any advice would greatly appreciated. This only my second actual grow after some attempts that failed to germinate. (Different strain). I hope this the appropriate place to look for help. Thanks.

From what I have read on the forum, your suppose to slightly dampen seed hat and gently remove with a pair of tweezers. @gonzotonto5

@Fresh read it right! Just a couple drops of water on top of the seed and the plant will kick the hat or you can very gently pull it off after you wet it with tweezers.

@Fresh @Bplatinum9 thanks. That’s what I did. It came off easily after spraying some water on it. Keeping fingers crossed it gets better.

Today you may have already noticed a difference.
This type of thing happens all the time and when you catch it before it strangles the life out of your plant there is usually great recovery! No worries you caught her in time! :eyes::seedling:

Temp and humidity have been staying consistent. Water temp 70 degrees Fahrenheit. pH 6.2 using blue lab pH monitor. Root system looks good on with no signs of root rot. Sent in a ticket with @Stephen. He said every is on point. The leaves showed some yellowing a few day ago when I submitted ticket. Now spots changing colors. Any input would be appreciated. I have revive on hand if needed. @Bplatinum9 @SilverGrobo @chris_barfield @vegetato @Todd.grobo

Best thing is probably observe for another day or two, hopefully it doesn’t continue for much longer.

What date and stage are you at?

I’d try and drop oh down to 5.8-5.9 … if the problem is wrong then it’s a cal/mag situation in my opinion … had that happen to me and that’s what helped me

If I were to do that how do u manually drop pH? @chris_barfield

He manually does his nutrients. Ask stephen to adjust. Looks like nutrients for sure. Do a drain and fill to reset

How many days of late veg is your plant?

14 days so far. The initial recipe was for 14 days total.I extended a couple of weeks to let it stretch up to the second fan. If it runs the extra two weeks it will 28 days total in late vegetation. It may not need the complete two extra weeks especially the way it has been stretching. @Bplatinum9

My plant spends the most time in late veg, I find it helps a lot.
Usually at least 47 days in late veg.

Adjust Your Recipe

Stage Day Total
1 : Germination 10 10
2 : Early Vegetation 14 14
3 : Late Vegetation 47 47
4 : Transition 11 11
5 : Flower 7 38
6 : Flush 0 10
