"Extras" I might need for my Grobo

Wow! Is there enough room for the plant?
Thank you so much for the recommendations!
Quite a list, but I’ll widdle it down based upon where I live. But lots to do.
Thanks again

Yeah it can seem overwhelming, but it’s more manageable if you get things as needed rather than all at once. I added a few more things to the list and if I remember anything else, I’ll be sure to add it as well.

Good luck with your grow!

Thanks for the info. Very helpful.

I occasionally use the H2O2 to keep out bacteria and rapid start for strong root growth.

Good add, I’ve never used anything stronger than the typical 3% solution you find at drug stores, but I looked into it after someone mentioned it either on here or another forum and it seems like it’s super effective & has a lot of household uses too.

Hey there was directed here for some support lol would you happen to have the link to said smart power strip and thermometers?

Lol, welcome!

Govee Wifi Thermometer

Smart Power Strip

I’ve read mixed reviews about the Govee WiFi monitor. Seems they aren’t always very accurate.

I have 2 of them, after calibration using thermpro cooking thermometer they are fine. They were slightly off out of the box.

The realtime reading in the app sometimes lags, but the reading on the actual thermometer is always correct, and so is the app once refreshed.

Can you send me the links to the recharge, revive, and hydro guard. I just want to make sure I’m getting the right things.

Also recommended fan etc

These more than doubled in price, but the 120mm ones are $20 for a pair.

All these and everything else on the list is posted around the forum, just use the search function at the top right hand corner of the page.

Do you have pictures of your set up

Ignore the glob of rope, I ran out of glue sticks for my glue gun when wrapping the 5 gal bucket grow

You use your own nutrients? And also what chiller is that? That is a chiller correct?

That’s a very nice set up. You must have crazy yields …

Right now the Grobo has Grobo nutrients, but I pH manually before filling and add Hydroguard + Rapid Start (for root growth).

The bucket has General Hydroponics 2-part nutes + CalMag + Hydroguard +Rapid Start.

The chiller is the one most of us on here use which is the 1/10 HP model by Active Aqua.

This is my first bucket grow and and my second Grobo grow - my last one resulted in a severely stunted plant with one kola because I didn’t know what I’ve learned since

The part that bothers me most about all of this is that, at least for collecting the sensor data like water pH, ambient temp, humidity, water level, water temp, etc… most or all of those sensors are literally already inside the Grobo… and yet the data isn’t being exposed to the end user. It makes zero sense, when it would be so extremely easy to display data that they’re already collecting in the Grobo app.

I agree 100%!!! Let’s ask Stephen why we cant have that info @Stephen

Thanks for this list!

Jeees :astonished:!! That’s some list but perfectly put

I would have already purchased Most of the items IF the European Sales was up & running !

I’ve already ordered a Digital Multi Thermostat please see previous posts  which should come in handy ?
