Yeah it can seem overwhelming, but it’s more manageable if you get things as needed rather than all at once. I added a few more things to the list and if I remember anything else, I’ll be sure to add it as well.

I occasionally use the H2O2 to keep out bacteria and rapid start for strong root growth.

Good add, I’ve never used anything stronger than the typical 3% solution you find at drug stores, but I looked into it after someone mentioned it either on here or another forum and it seems like it’s super effective & has a lot of household uses too.

I’ve read mixed reviews about the Govee WiFi monitor. Seems they aren’t always very accurate.

I have 2 of them, after calibration using thermpro cooking thermometer they are fine. They were slightly off out of the box.

The realtime reading in the app sometimes lags, but the reading on the actual thermometer is always correct, and so is the app once refreshed.

You use your own nutrients? And also what chiller is that? That is a chiller correct?

Right now the Grobo has Grobo nutrients, but I pH manually before filling and add Hydroguard + Rapid Start (for root growth).

The bucket has General Hydroponics 2-part nutes + CalMag + Hydroguard +Rapid Start.

The chiller is the one most of us on here use which is the 1/10 HP model by Active Aqua.

This is my first bucket grow and and my second Grobo grow - my last one resulted in a severely stunted plant with one kola because I didn’t know what I’ve learned since

The part that bothers me most about all of this is that, at least for collecting the sensor data like water pH, ambient temp, humidity, water level, water temp, etc… most or all of those sensors are literally already inside the Grobo… and yet the data isn’t being exposed to the end user. It makes zero sense, when it would be so extremely easy to display data that they’re already collecting in the Grobo app.
