@SWSVIC they add recipes quarterly, every 3 months from what I recall reading.
Yes I’ve read the same.
@Aang thank you!
@SWSVIC @VermontGrobo I actually requested 2 at the same time but only 1 of them was added.
@SWSVIC that is odd maybe they forgot to add it to that list. Is there a way to tell when a recipe was added?
There is not, unfortunately.
Day 77 16/44 Flower, update from last night. Took very little off of her this time. Fresh water change, She’s seems to still be stretching some, 2 main colas are getting up there, I hope she doesn’t get too close to the light but maybe it’s a perfect height? Any suggestions? @Bplatinum9 @SWSVIC @VermontGrobo @Russel_Richardson It’s great seeing all this action here!
I think you’ll be good height wise. Start tucking those fan leaves getting light to your bud sites!
I have been doing plenty of tucking lately, I think I have all sites exposed currently. I take a peek everyday and make sure in the evening, right at ‘lights on’ that’s she’s ready for the light intake
Awesome
@Letsgrowmore only thing I would recommend is getting rid of some of the bigger fan leafs, or power tuck them. Pretty sure power tucking isn’t a real thing, but some of the lower buds may be able to get some more light if the fan leafs above them are tucked/snipped.
Use some supports if your two branches start to get too close to the light, you may even wish to use them now.
Eliminate the large fan leaves so your plant doesn’t start to sweat or mold.
Is this your first grow? Everything is looking great!!! Your going to have one best yields and looking plants on the forum to date I think… only Grobo nutrients right? Great job!! Perfect height as well as I think the stretched stopped too?
I see a lot recommendations and advice requested for defoliation and pruning of leaves. This article I read by a couple of PhD regarding the topic. https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/community/photons_corner/to-defoliate-or-not-to-defoliate/
@SWSVIC @Bplatinum9 @VermontGrobo tonight right at lights on I will go take some larger fans from her and I’ll also use some supports to move those 2 main colas out of the way some for more light! Thx for the input guys.
@Jamminbear this is indeed my first grow so thank you for that! I have only been using Grobo nutes plus 3 tea spoons of hydroguard per drain and fill @Bplatinum9 I have a small fan in there plus those temp gauges is all I have done thus far! I like to keep it simple and just give what she asks for. I am very excited to see what the harvest is going to look like as well. I hope the stretching has stopped since she’s at a great height to sit at. Just doing my diligence and trying to make the best tops as possible. I’ll update few more pics tonight after the fans get trimmed and hydro gets added
Great article
Day 80 19/44 @SWSVIC @Bplatinum9 @Jamminbear @VermontGrobo
Did a good bit of fan removal tonight But no more than 20%, also pinned up the 2 main colas to the side for more light flow and breeze! I noticed my girl is crushing bottle #5 lately! I wish Grobo sold #5 in gallon bottles! I just put a new one in as from my posts and it’s almost 1/3 gone already, is that seem normal at this stage? Pics!
She’s looking REALLY good! Would be interested to know what the champs say on bottle 5 usage. Do plants at this stage require/desire more cal/mag? Could EC pen need cleaning perhaps? I assume you are using the same water to fill as you always have throughout the grow, no recent change in type or brand?
Thanks @SWSVIC same water, no changes. I calibrated ph before flower stage and cleaned the ec off perfectly as well, im assuming it’s normal usage but I can clean my probes again tonight just to be sure they’re clean and fresh
Did you clean the EC probe during that calibration? If so it is probably not that. @Stephen , is higher usage of bottle 5 normal in some plants/recipes at this point in their growth cycle?
Then I highly doubt it is the prob. Regardless, plant looks amazing!
